PRODUCTION COSTS:

A research or consultation fee will apply: $50.00 per hour ($100.00 minimum charge)

This can includes intensive topic search of library holdings by electronic and/or manual methods by staff.

Line producing clip creations at flat fee will apply of $250.00. Each project is costed out on a case by case basis.

Additional Information

The licensing terms start from the date of execution, or from the date of the first broadcast.

Longer terms may be arranged for additional surcharges. A term of perpetuity is available at ___ % of the base royalty or negotiated.

Add-ons to broadcast rights (such as DVD or Streaming distribution) are also available for ___% of the base royalty.

Shot list with timecode in and out of each shot and a description is needed before any final quote can be proposed.

Final contract must be signed and final fee paid for before any master material is released.

We can change our terms and conditions at anytime based on the project and quantity of material that is requested.

Term
The standard licensing term is for a period of five years, except Educational/In-House use, PBS and Cable TV, which is limited to four years.

Perpetuity
If the usage of GPI library material is requested in perpetuity, an additional 100% surcharge is applicable for this usage, over and above any standard usage fees.

Extended usage to include Home Video DVD/Streaming no downloads may be included for an additional surcharge of 50% over and above standard fees.

A discount on quantity usage over five minutes is negotiable. All taxes, if applicable, are in addition to the above rates.

Assessment of Selections
Once the purchaser's selections have been submitted, GPI will review them and research whether the material can be licensed. Some GPI material cannot be licensed by GPI, but may be able to be licensed by the original owner.

Selected Sections
Sections provided back to the purchaser are only of selected material purchased. The purchaser is responsible for any telecine transfer costs or stock. An estimate will be provided and a purchase order is required before any work can proceed.

The approximate estimate is $400/hour with a half hour minimum, plus stock.

Contract
The purchaser is required to sign a contract and payment must be received in advance before any material is released.

Turnaround Time
Allow a minimum of two weeks for processing and delivery after submitting an order and signing a contract but this is not garenteed.
